About
Gaelscoil Naomh Séamas is a Catholic, co‑educational immersion school in Killorglin, County Kerry, where Irish is the language of instruction. Established in 2020, the school delivers the national curriculum through Irish, fostering a positive, open learning environment that celebrates each child’s identity and cultural heritage. The ethos combines a strong Catholic foundation with respect for all faiths, encouraging spiritual, moral, cognitive, aesthetic, social and physical development in a safe, happy setting. The campus is a modern, warm‑filled building equipped with specialised rooms for cooking, music and indoor play, alongside spacious outdoor areas including large playing fields to the front and rear, an enclosed Naíonra space and a brand‑new playground. Practical support for families is provided through a dedicated school bus service, an after‑school child‑minding programme run by the Naíonra, and a zero‑tolerance bullying policy. Parents are welcomed as partners in education, with clear communication channels and opportunities to engage in the life of the school.
