About
Dún Laoghaire Educate Together (ETNS) is an equality‑based, co‑educational primary school that welcomes children and families from all social, cultural, gender, racial and religious backgrounds. The school’s ethos centres on belonging, respect and inclusion, creating a supportive environment where every pupil feels valued and able to thrive. Learning is delivered through a holistic, play‑based curriculum that balances academic rigour with creativity, the arts, nature and self‑expression, encouraging children to develop confidence, curiosity and a love of learning. Well‑being is a core priority, with a wide range of programmes that promote social and emotional literacy. Initiatives such as Neurodiversity fortnight, Restorative Practice, Forest School, Intercultural Week, ukulele lessons and a vibrant Student Council enrich the curriculum and foster a sense of community. Parents are actively encouraged to partner with the school, contributing to daily life and ensuring that family voices are heard in decision‑making. The school is currently operating from the campus of The Red Door School in Monkstown while its permanent premises are under construction on the former fire‑station site at Bentley Villas, Dún Laoghaire. The new building will house sixteen classrooms, including two specialist rooms for children with additional needs, providing modern, flexible spaces designed to support the school’s inclusive and innovative educational approach.
