About

Gaelscoil Eoin is a multi‑denominational Irish‑medium primary school catering for Junior Infants through to Sixth Class (ages 4‑12). The school delivers the national curriculum through the Irish language, fostering a friendly, safe environment where pupils can develop academically, socially and culturally. Emphasis is placed on high‑quality education, the celebration of Irish language and culture, and the promotion of diversity and inclusion at every level. The school is situated in a historic, purpose‑built building on Haddington Place, Ballsbridge (Droichead na Dothra), providing spacious classrooms, specialist areas and outdoor play spaces. Its timetable runs from 8:30 am to 2:10 pm for primary classes, with dedicated early‑year hours for the Naíonáin. The school offers regular information evenings for prospective families, a well‑structured registration process and clear communication channels to support parents throughout the admission journey.

History

Gaelscoil Eoin was established in 2021 as the first Gaelscoil serving the Dublin 2 and 4 catchment area. It opened with six children in Junior Infants and has grown steadily each year, expanding from early years provision to a full primary range (Junior Infants to Sixth Class). The school occupies its own historic building in Ballsbridge, which is intended to develop alongside the school’s increasing enrolment.
