History

Gaelscoil Uí Riada was founded in 1984 in the Wilton district of Cork and has grown steadily over four decades. In October 2024 the school celebrated its 40th anniversary, marking a milestone of continuous service to the local community. Throughout its history the school has maintained a focus on providing high‑quality Irish‑medium education in a nurturing environment, expanding its pupil roll and staff numbers while preserving its core values and commitment to cultural heritage.
