About

Galway Educate Together Secondary School is a recently established, co‑educational secondary school operating under the Educate Together patronage. The school opened its doors to first‑year students in August 2019 and delivers a 21st‑century curriculum that blends academic rigour with a strong emphasis on wellbeing, resilience, student voice and active citizenship. Learning is supported by a digital platform that enhances a broad curriculum spanning the Junior Cycle, Transition Year and the Leaving Certificate, allowing students to develop both academic and personal skills in a safe, inclusive environment. The ethos promotes a vibrant community where dignity, respect and equality of access are central, irrespective of gender, cultural or religious background. A wide range of sporting and extra‑curricular activities, together with a restorative approach to behaviour, enriches the student experience. Highly qualified staff and modern facilities provide the foundation for innovative teaching methods and a culture of achievement that benefits both the learners and the wider community.
