About
Goatstown Educate Together Secondary School is a voluntary secondary school under the sole patronage of Educate Together, situated on Goatstown Road, Dublin 14. The school delivers an equality‑based, learner‑centred education that embraces democratic governance and inclusive practice, ensuring that every pupil can reach their full potential. A broad curriculum is complemented by a wide range of sporting, musical and artistic activities, and the school places a strong emphasis on kindness, effort and creativity as core values. The campus occupies the former Irish Glass Bottle Recreation site, which the school moved to in August 2024. Facilities include a modern library with an expanding collection of fiction and non‑fiction titles, dedicated spaces for additional support needs, and a new administration system, Compass, which provides online access to timetables, reports and payments. Ongoing planning is underway for a permanent 1,000‑pupil building, reflecting the school’s commitment to future growth and to providing a high‑quality learning environment for the local community. Support structures such as the Additional Support Needs team, Student Support Team, Transition Year team and Guidance team work collaboratively to meet the diverse needs of students, fostering a safe and supportive atmosphere that prepares learners for responsible global citizenship and sustainable development.
