About
Harold’s Cross Educate Together National School opened its doors in September 2019 with a modest cohort of twelve Junior Infant pupils and is rapidly expanding, aiming to accommodate children from Junior Infants through to Sixth Class by 2026. The school is situated on the historic site of the former Greyhound stadium in Harold’s Cross and, while still in temporary accommodation, shares a vibrant campus with Harold’s Cross Educate Together Secondary School since September 2020. As an Educate Together school, the ethos is firmly rooted in the Charter’s principles of inclusivity, equality of access and respect for diversity. The Learn Together Curriculum delivers a holistic, child‑centred education that integrates ethical education, fostering democratic participation and a love of learning. Facilities support a play‑based learning environment, and a dynamic after‑school programme, run by staff and external providers, offers a wide range of extracurricular activities that cater to varied interests. The school places pupil voice at the heart of its community, encouraging students to shape their learning environment and develop confidence as active participants in a participatory democracy.
