About

Holy Family National School is a vibrant Catholic primary school situated in the heart of Tralee, County Kerry. The school embraces a whole‑child approach, aiming to nurture intellectual, emotional, social, physical, cultural and spiritual development. Its curriculum is designed to balance academic rigour with character building, encouraging curiosity, compassion and confidence. Facilities include dedicated infant and main school classrooms, a well‑maintained playground, and spaces that support active participation in sports and environmental programmes such as the Green Schools initiative. The school community places a strong emphasis on partnership between home and school, fostering a supportive environment where every pupil is known, valued and encouraged to thrive. Through initiatives like the Active Schools Flag Award and a robust DEIS (Delivering Equality of Opportunity in Schools) framework, Holy Family provides inclusive opportunities, extra‑curricular activities and additional resources to ensure that all children can achieve happiness, fulfilment and success in their educational journey.
