About
Kill o’ the Grange National School is a co‑educational, Church of Ireland primary school situated in Deansgrange, Blackrock, County Dublin. The school is governed by a Board of Management that includes the parish rector, the principal and elected parent and teacher representatives, ensuring that the ethos of Christian values and a caring, intimate environment is upheld. Teaching is organised across six year groups from Junior Infants to Sixth Class, with a strong emphasis on inclusive education that recognises each child as an individual and promotes self‑worth, resilience and kindness. The school operates from a modern purpose‑built facility opened in 2004, equipped with high‑speed broadband as part of the Department of Education’s School Broadband Programme. A vibrant house system, based on colour‑named houses, encourages healthy competition and community spirit through merit points for behaviour, sport and extracurricular involvement. A broad range of after‑school and extra‑curricular activities—including music, sport, science and active play—support a well‑rounded curriculum that balances academic learning with personal development.
