About

Kishoge Community College is a co‑educational, equality‑based secondary school operating under the patronage of Dublin & Dún Laoghaire ETB and in partnership with Educate Together. The college promotes a growth‑mindset ethos within an active learning community, valuing innovation, inclusivity and creativity. Teaching is learner‑centred, with teachers acting as facilitators who employ interactive, collaborative methods and a holistic approach that balances literacy, numeracy, personal, social and ethical development. Assessment for and of learning is integral to daily practice, and the school places strong emphasis on the use of information technology across the curriculum. The school’s environment is designed to be welcoming and democratic, encouraging respectful partnerships between students, parents/guardians and staff. Facilities support a broad range of extracurricular activities, including clubs, sports, arts and a Green Schools programme, and the college provides dedicated resources such as a guidance department, a student leadership structure and a modern IT infrastructure (e.g., VSWare parent app). These provisions aim to equip students with the knowledge, skills and confidence required for active citizenship and lifelong learning in the 21st century.
