Scoil Mhuire, Kiskeam National School is a rural, co‑educational Catholic primary school located in the Duhallow area of North Cork. With a roll of approximately 77 pupils, the school provides education from Junior Infants through to Sixth Class. The school day runs from 9:10 am to 2:50 pm (1:50 pm for Infants) and includes structured break times for snack and lunch. A vibrant parents’ association works closely with staff to support school life and community initiatives. The school’s educational philosophy is centred on the balanced growth of each child, offering a broad and flexible curriculum that caters to both highly able learners and those who need additional support. Core subjects are complemented by a strong emphasis on the arts – drama, music, dance and visual art – as well as physical education and games, providing pupils with ample opportunities to express individuality and achieve personal success.
