About
Kyle Community National School is a state‑funded, co‑educational primary school that operates under the patronage of the Cork Education and Training Board (Cork ETB). As a Community National School it follows a multi‑denominational ethos and is built on five core values – Excellence in Education, Care, Equality, Community and Respect. The school provides an inclusive, supportive and responsive learning environment where every child is welcomed regardless of race, gender, religion, ability or socio‑economic background. Governance, financial, human‑resources and ICT support are supplied by Cork ETB, allowing school leadership to concentrate on teaching and learning. The curriculum adheres to the Irish Primary School Curriculum (DES, 1999) and is enriched by the Goodness Me, Goodness You (GMGY) multi‑belief and values programme, which promotes understanding of diverse cultures and beliefs. Facilities are designed to foster both academic and personal development, with spaces for collaborative work, outdoor play and community activities. The school benefits from the broader network of Cork ETB services, including access to adult education programmes for families and specialist resources that enhance the quality of education offered to its pupils.
