Le Chéile National School is a modern primary school in Limerick that opened its doors on 1 September 2015. Formed from the amalgamation of Galvone N.S. and Southill Junior School, the school provides a purpose‑built, 12‑classroom environment designed to the highest contemporary standards. Its ethos, encapsulated in the motto “Together we achieve”, reflects a commitment to nurturing each child’s talents and potential within a supportive, Catholic‑inspired community. The curriculum is enriched by a broad range of extracurricular and specialist programmes. Pupils can take part in violin lessons, chess (Ficheall), drama club, and a robust STEM offering that has earned the school the SFI Gold Award (2023) and a STEAM plaque for previous years.
