About
Leixlip Educate Together National School is an equality‑based, co‑educational primary school situated on the Coláiste Chiaráin Community College campus in Leixlip. Since opening in 2019, the school has expanded rapidly and now educates 179 pupils (2024) across the Junior Infants to Senior Infants and Primary levels. The school follows the Irish National Primary School Curriculum and operates under Department of Education regulations, while also delivering the distinctive ‘Learn Together’ Ethical Education programme that explores a range of religions, belief systems, values and environmental issues. The school’s child‑centred, democratic ethos places pupils at the heart of decision‑making and promotes equal access for all children regardless of gender, identity or background. Facilities are shared with the neighbouring community college, providing access to modern classrooms, specialist learning spaces and outdoor areas that support a broad, inclusive curriculum. A strong partnership between families and staff underpins a nurturing environment where children are encouraged to become compassionate, confident and curious learners.
