Limerick Educate Together Secondary School (LETSS) is a co‑educational post‑primary institution operating under the Educate Together patronage. It serves the Castletroy catchment area and currently enrols around 620‑640 students. The school’s ethos is built on five core principles – curiosity, creativity, diversity, respect and community – and it places students at the centre of learning through a curriculum that blends the Junior Cycle Framework, the Senior Cycle Key Skills Framework and a strong emphasis on project‑based learning (PBL). PBL enables learners to engage with authentic, interdisciplinary projects that develop collaboration, critical thinking and problem‑solving skills, while restorative practice underpins a positive, relationship‑focused approach to discipline and wellbeing. The campus, opened in September 2023, is a €32 million, state‑of‑the‑art facility designed for up to 1,000 pupils. It features flexible learning spaces, a 1:1 iPad programme, and cutting‑edge technology supported by Apple, earning LETSS the status of an Apple Distinguished School in 2023. Sustainability is integral to school life, with three Green Schools Flags recognising initiatives such as rainwater recycling, solar energy generation and promotion of green travel. History
Limerick Educate Together Secondary School opened its new, purpose‑built campus in September 2023.
