Maryfield College is a Catholic secondary school for girls that delivers a holistic, values‑based education under the trusteeship of the Le Chéile Schools Trust. The school’s ethos is centred on the Le Chéile values of Welcome, Witness and Wisdom, and its motto *In Fide Stabiles* (Steadfast in Faith) reflects a commitment to nurturing spiritual, emotional, academic and social development. A strong sense of community of care underpins everyday life, with emphasis on supportive relationships between pupils, staff and families, creating a safe environment in which students can thrive. The curriculum is broad and balanced, offering a range of subjects including Gaeilge, English, Science, Music, Religion and modern languages such as Japanese. History
Founded in 1945 by the Sisters of the Cross and Passion, Maryfield College has celebrated eight decades of providing education to young women. Inspired by the educational vision of the Cross and Passion Sisters and their foundress Sr Elizabeth Prout, the school has evolved under the Le Chéile Schools Trust while maintaining its Catholic ethos and community‑focused values.
