History
Catholic primary education in Moville was originally provided by St Brigid’s Girls National School and St Joseph’s Boys National School. In 1996 these two schools amalgamated to form Scoil Eoghain. The school operated on two sites until 2008, when temporary accommodation on the former boys’ school site allowed construction of a new building on the former St Brigid’s site. The new nine‑classroom facility was occupied in November 2009.
