About

Mount Anville Primary School (Scoil Naisiunta Cnoc Ainbhil) is a co‑educational primary school situated on Lower Kilmacud Road, Stillorgan, County Dublin. The school describes itself as providing a happy, holistic and dynamic learning environment, underpinned by the Sacred Heart ethos. This ethos is expressed through five key goals – Faith, Character, Social Justice, Community and Intellect – which are embedded in the daily life of the school and guide its approach to teaching and learning. The curriculum is presented as broad and balanced, offering a wide range of learning experiences across core subjects and enrichment areas such as Aistear, maths, social, environmental and scientific education (S.E.S.E) and social, personal and health education (S.P.H.E). A strong emphasis is placed on extracurricular activities, including after‑school clubs, a breakfast club and sport, to cater for varied pupil interests. Governance is provided by an effective Board of Management and an active Parents Council, and the school is currently developing a five‑year Strategic Plan (2023‑2028) in consultation with all stakeholders to ensure continued progress and responsiveness to pupil needs.
