About
Newbridge Educate Together is an equality‑based, child‑centred primary school situated in Newbridge, County Kildare. It is co‑educational and democratically run, welcoming children from Junior Infants to 6th Class with a current enrolment of over 400 pupils. The school’s ethos places the learner at the heart of all decisions, promoting inclusiveness, parental choice and respect for diversity. Learning is delivered through positive, engaging experiences that cater for a range of learning styles, and the school operates under the Educate Together charter which guarantees equal access regardless of gender, identity, belief or ability. The campus comprises 16 mainstream classrooms, six Special Educational Needs (SET) rooms, a well‑stocked library, a multi‑sensory room and a spacious sports/assembly hall. Outdoor facilities include a school garden, a woodland area, a playground and access to a shared sports pitch a short walk away. These environments support a broad curriculum that integrates academic subjects with creative and physical development. A rich programme of after‑school clubs enhances the holistic education on offer, with activities such as chess, GAA, soccer, robotics, science, LEGO, animation, arts and crafts, basketball, athletics and more. The school does not require a uniform, reinforcing its commitment to individuality and equality, and encourages active participation from pupils, parents and staff in school life.
