About

Oatlands College is a voluntary Catholic secondary school for boys, founded by the Christian Brothers and now operating under the trusteeship of the Edmund Rice Schools Trust (ERST). The college welcomes enrolment of pupils and families who respect the religious and educational philosophy set out in the ERST Charter and its Mission Statement. As an Edmund Rice school community, it is composed of students, staff, parents and management, all working together to provide a holistic education that nurtures religious, moral, intellectual, physical, aesthetic and social development. The school places a strong emphasis on creating an atmosphere of Christian care and concern, enabling students to mature in a supportive environment. Academic provision is complemented by a vibrant cultural and sporting tradition, with dedicated programmes and facilities for rugby, tennis, Gaelic football and other activities, reflecting the college’s commitment to a well‑rounded education. Modern resources such as Office 365, a staff portal and online payment systems support the day‑to‑day operation and enhance learning experiences.
