As an Educate Together school it follows a child‑centred, democratically run ethos that promotes inclusive, respectful learning and encourages parental involvement. The curriculum is broad and balanced, covering all eleven Irish National Curriculum subjects—including Gaeilge, English, Maths, Science, History, Geography, Music, Drama, Visual Arts, SPHE and PE—augmented by the “Learn Together” ethics programme. The school is a Digital School of Distinction, with each classroom equipped with interactive projectors, visualisers, digital cameras, iPads and laptops, while pupils have access to class iPads and Chromebooks to support interactive learning. A thriving school garden, complete with a geodome, and a vibrant forest‑school programme provide outdoor learning opportunities. A wide range of after‑school clubs (arts, drama, music, sport, dance, yoga, meditation, cookery) and active children’s committees—including Green Schools, Student Council, Forest School and Active Schools—further enrich the pupil experience and foster community spirit.
