About

Riverview Educate Together National School is a multi‑denominational primary school situated on Limekiln Road in Walkinstown, Dublin 12. Established in 2016 by a collaborative group of parents, community representatives and education professionals, the school delivers an equality‑based curriculum that welcomes children of all ethnicities, belief systems and backgrounds. The ethos centres on “Learn Together to Live Together”, fostering a supportive environment where each child’s uniqueness is valued and where mutual respect, joy and purpose in learning are actively cultivated. The school places a strong emphasis on outdoor and experiential learning. Regular termly celebrations mark the changing seasons, and dedicated programmes such as Forest School, a Biodiversity Garden and a research partnership with Trinity College Dublin enrich the curriculum with hands‑on science, nature and environmental education. Recent developments include the forthcoming vacating of the entire school building by the Department of Education and the approval to expand to a two‑stream model over the next eight years, allowing the school to accommodate a larger cohort while maintaining its commitment to inclusive, creative education.

History

Riverview Educate Together National School was founded in 2016 as a growing and developing Educate Together primary school. Since its inception, the school has expanded its facilities and programmes, most recently receiving confirmation that its current building on Limekiln Road will be vacated, enabling the addition of a second class stream and the transition to a full two‑stream school over the coming eight years.
