Robertstown National School is a co‑educational Catholic primary school situated in the Parish of Allen, County Kildare. The school serves a diverse community of children from junior infants through to fifth class, offering seven mainstream classes together with a dedicated autism class and a team of special‑needs assistants. Its inclusive ethos ensures that pupils of any faith, ability, nationality or ethnic background are welcomed and supported to reach their full potential in a caring, holistic environment. The curriculum is complemented by a wide range of extracurricular activities, including sports such as soccer, touch rugby and swimming, as well as music programmes like tin‑whistle lessons. Recent investment through a Next Generation EU grant has equipped the school with Chromebooks, interactive whiteboards and online assessment tools, helping to bridge the digital divide for learners at risk of disadvantage. All children receive free, nutritious hot meals and are provided with the books and stationery they need for the school year. Strong links with parents and the local community underpin the school’s progressive approach, fostering a welcoming atmosphere where every child is known by name and encouraged to develop confidence, creativity and a love of learning.
