About
Scoil Bhríde 1917 is a full‑Irish medium primary school for both girls and boys, located in the Raghnallach area of Dublin 6. The school delivers the national curriculum through the medium of Gaeilge, providing pupils with a strong linguistic foundation and a deep appreciation of Irish culture. Over the past century the school has built a reputation for academic rigour combined with a nurturing, community‑focused environment, where learning is conducted in a supportive, bilingual setting. The campus includes dedicated spaces for a range of extracurricular activities. A school garden (“An Dúlra”) supports environmental education and the “An Brat Glas” (Green School) programme encourages sustainable practices. The “An Brat Gníomhach” (Active School) initiative promotes physical wellbeing through sport and movement. Small early‑years groups (“Naíonáin Bheaga”) cater for younger children, and a clear uniform policy fosters a sense of belonging. Together these facilities and programmes aim to develop confident, socially responsible learners who are well‑prepared for the challenges of modern life.
