About
Scoil Eoin is a Catholic co‑educational special school that serves pupils aged 9‑18 with mild learning disabilities, and where present, a dual diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder or ADHD. The school operates both primary and secondary sections, providing a seamless educational pathway from early years through to the Leaving Certificate Applied. Its programmes are designed to meet individual needs, with a strong emphasis on fostering self‑esteem, independence and a love of learning within a caring, multi‑cultural Christian ethos. The school runs a full‑day timetable (08:35‑14:15) and offers a range of curricular options, including Level 2 and Level 3 Junior Certificate programmes and a dedicated Leaving Certificate Applied stream. Each class is supported by experienced teaching staff and a special‑needs assistant, ensuring personalised attention. Safe, escorted school transport is provided for all pupils. The institution is under the patronage of the Archdiocese of Dublin, with the primary sector stewarded by the Edmund Rice Trust and the secondary sector by the Religious Sisters of Charity, reflecting its commitment to professional standards and inclusive practice.
