History
Scoil Mháirtín opened in September 2008 on the site of the former boys’ school, which had served the community since 1966. The school resulted from the amalgamation of Kilworth Junior and Senior schools to accommodate a growing local population. Initially offering eight classrooms, a five‑classroom extension with an additional resource room was completed in November 2013, bringing the total to thirteen classrooms, four resource rooms, a library/computer room and a PE hall.
