About
Scoil Mhuire is a co‑educational primary school under Catholic patronage, serving a vibrant community of over 415 pupils. The school’s ethos centres on a caring, inclusive environment that nurtures each child’s spiritual, intellectual, social and physical development. A strong partnership between parents, staff and the Board of Management underpins a collaborative approach to learning, ensuring regular communication and shared responsibility for student progress. The campus combines modern and purpose‑built facilities. Sixteen general classrooms, two fully equipped P.E. halls with stage, lighting and sound, and a state‑of‑the‑art ASD classroom support a broad curriculum. Additional resources include six learning‑support rooms, a Home/School/Community Liaison office, a parents’ room, a breakfast/homework suite and extensive storage. Outdoor provision features owned playing fields with dressing rooms and a newly constructed 400 m all‑weather running track. A wide range of extra‑curricular programmes—sport, drama, music and clubs—complement the academic programme, fostering holistic education and community spirit.
