About
Gaelscoil na gCeithre Maol is a full‑Irish primary school situated in the Beltane area, catering for roughly 122 pupils from junior infants to sixth class. The school opened officially in mid‑September 1998 under the patronage of the Foras Pátrúnachta and receives funding from the Department of Education and Skills together with the Primary Curriculum. Its educational ethos centres on delivering the national curriculum entirely through Irish, fostering fluency and confidence in the language while promoting a strong sense of cultural identity. The campus provides a range of modern facilities to support a broad curriculum. Outside there is a large play area, a football pitch and a sports hall, while the indoor provision includes numerous classrooms, two dedicated learning‑support rooms, a school library and a music room. These spaces enable the school to offer a balanced programme of academic, sporting and artistic activities, encouraging pupils to develop holistically and to engage actively with both the Irish language and wider community life.
