Scoil Íosagáin Infant School is a co‑educational Catholic infant school situated in Spa Glen, Mallow, County Cork. While rooted in the Catholic tradition, the school actively promotes inclusivity, welcoming children of all religious backgrounds and cultures. It provides education for both Junior and Senior Infants, employing a child‑centred approach that blends the national curriculum with the Aistear early childhood framework and the Literacy Lift Off programme. These initiatives place a strong emphasis on learning through play, sensory exploration and progressive reading and writing development, ensuring each pupil can reach their full potential across academic, social and personal domains. The school boasts a range of modern facilities designed to support a vibrant learning environment. There are six classrooms, four specialised resource rooms, a dedicated sensory room, a large multipurpose hall, an Aistear room and well‑equipped play areas. History
Scoil Íosagáin was founded by the Mercy Order in 1964 and has maintained a long tradition of infant education in Mallow ever since.
