The campus boasts modern facilities, including spacious classrooms equipped with interactive whiteboards, a dedicated computer laboratory, an all‑purpose room, a gymnasium and an all‑weather playground. Recent extensions have added several new classrooms, a specialised computer room and extensive storage, ensuring that the school can accommodate a growing enrolment while providing up‑to‑date resources. Extra‑curricular programmes such as chess, speech and drama, traditional music, Irish dancing and a wide range of sports (hurling, football, basketball, swimming and athletics) enrich the pupil experience and support the development of confidence, teamwork and lifelong learning.
History
Lisnagry National School was built in 1961, replacing the former Richill National School, and originally comprised three classrooms for 80–100 pupils. Rapid population growth in the 1970s led to a renovation and the addition of three new classrooms, an all‑purpose room and a staffroom in 1991. A further extension in 2005 added four classrooms, an all‑purpose room, a computer room, a gym and storerooms. Subsequent developments saw one new classroom in 2010 and two more in 2017, resulting in a modern school with spacious classrooms, up‑to‑date equipment and an all‑weather playground.
