Scoil na Leanaí is an Irish‑language primary boarding school situated on the An Rinn campus in County Waterford. It caters to boys and girls aged 10‑13, delivering the Irish national curriculum to pupils in 5th class, 6th class and the preparatory year. Classes are deliberately kept small to ensure each child receives personalised attention and to foster a disciplined study routine that builds a solid foundation for later academic and personal development. The school’s ethos centres on nurturing mind, body and spirit, with a strong emphasis on Irish cultural heritage, language immersion and the development of independence through a supportive boarding environment. The boarding facilities comprise separate dormitory wings for boys and girls, each divided into individual cubicles equipped with a single bed, locker and wardrobe, allowing pupils to personalise their space with personal items and create a “home from home” atmosphere. A comprehensive daily programme includes structured academic lessons, a health‑focused eating policy that sources local produce, and a rich array of after‑school activities such as music, song, dance, drama, sport and outdoor recreation.
