History
St Brendan’s G.N.S., The Glen was officially opened by Jack Lynch in 1977 and has served as a centre of learning for over four decades. Originally established as an all‑girls Catholic primary school, it now accommodates 91 pupils and a staff of ten teachers, two special‑needs assistants and additional support personnel. The school’s leadership has included a long‑serving principal of thirty‑three years, followed by successive principals who have continued to develop the school’s ethos and community focus.
