About

St Kevin’s Community College is a co‑educational secondary school operated by the Dublin and Dún Laoghaire Education and Training Board, situated on Fonthain Road in North Clondalkin. The college serves approximately 450 pupils drawn mainly from the Lucan, Quarryvale and Balgaddy areas, as well as a diverse international cohort. Its mission is to foster learning in a caring, collaborative environment, working in partnership with families and the wider community to help each student reach their full potential. The college offers a comprehensive curriculum that includes the Junior Certificate Schools Programme (JCSP), Transition Year, the traditional Leaving Certificate, and the Leaving Certificate Applied (LCA). A strong emphasis is placed on both academic rigour and personal development, underpinned by a set of guiding principles that promote teamwork, respect, and innovative problem‑solving. Modern facilities support this vision, featuring dedicated language rooms, three computer suites, woodwork and home economics workshops, a basketball court, and interactive whiteboards in every classroom. An extensive after‑school programme provides a wide range of extra‑curricular activities, enabling students to explore interests, develop new skills and build lasting friendships.
