About
St Patrick’s National School is a vibrant, welcoming and supportive primary school situated in the heart of Drumcondra on the DCU St Patrick’s Campus. Although it operates under the patronage of the Archdiocese of Dublin and retains a Catholic ethos, the school is inclusive and welcomes children of all faiths and traditions. It is a vertical school spread across two buildings, providing education for Junior Infants through to 6th class, and also offers two Special Language classes and an Autism class to meet diverse learning needs. The school community comprises almost 500 pupils, supported by a dedicated team of teachers, Special Needs Assistants, a Speech and Language Therapist, as well as administrative and caretaking staff. Recent investment in high‑speed broadband, delivered through the Department of Education School Broadband Programme, ensures that pupils have access to modern digital resources. An active Board of Management and a proactive Parents’ Association further enrich the school environment, fostering strong links between home and school.
