About
Stapolin Educate Together National School is a co‑educational, non‑fee‑paying primary school operating under the patronage of Educate Together. It provides mainstream classes from Junior Infants to Sixth Class together with specialised provision for children with Developmental Language Disorder and two dedicated autism classes. The school’s ethos is firmly inclusive: no religion or worldview is given priority, and every child is afforded equal opportunities regardless of gender, identity or ability. The curriculum follows the Irish Primary School Curriculum, delivering the eleven statutory subjects alongside Educate Together’s Learn Together Ethical Education Curriculum, which integrates moral, spiritual, equality, justice, belief‑system and environmental strands. There is no school uniform; pupils wear comfortable, practical clothing to support active learning. Communication with families is facilitated through the Aladdin Connect app, text and email, and a strong emphasis is placed on parental involvement in governance, volunteering and extracurricular activities. A Positive Behaviour Policy underpins a respectful, self‑disciplined learning environment, ensuring that children are at the heart of all policies and decisions.
History
