About
Stepaside Educate Together National School is a co‑educational primary school that delivers the Irish national curriculum under the patronage of Educate Together. The school follows the Learn Together Curriculum, providing an ethical education programme in place of daily religious instruction. Its educational philosophy is child‑centred, aiming to meet the individual needs of every pupil and to support each child in reaching their full potential. A strong emphasis is placed on kindness, respect and democratic participation, with students, parents and staff all having a voice in school decisions. The school operates from a purpose‑built, purpose‑designed building that opened in April 2018. The modern facilities accommodate 24 mainstream classes together with two dedicated autism classes, creating an inclusive environment for a diverse student body. A wide range of curricular and extracurricular activities, including sports, arts and extra‑curricular clubs, are offered to promote holistic development and encourage pupils to thrive academically, socially and personally. The school is funded by the Department of Education and Skills and maintains high standards across all aspects of its operation. It fosters a vibrant, positive and professional atmosphere that supports both teaching and learning, reflecting its commitment to an inclusive, respectful and collaborative community.
