Scoil San Phroinsias, located in Tirellan Heights, Galway, is a mainstream, Catholic, co‑educational national school that operates under the patronage of the Bishop of Galway. The school delivers a bilingual curriculum funded by the Department of Education and Science and follows the national curriculum while embedding a strong Catholic ethos. Its mission is to create a happy, tolerant and safe environment where each child is encouraged to reach their unique potential, with a holistic focus on intellectual, spiritual, emotional, physical, moral and cultural development. Operating hours are 8:50 am–1:30 pm for infant classes and until 2:30 pm for the older classes.
