About
Tramore Educate Together National School is a co‑educational, multi‑denominational primary school that places the child at the centre of its learning environment. Operating under the Department of Education and the national curriculum, the school is democratically run and subject to the same state inspection regime as all Irish primary schools. Its patron, Educate Together, supports a progressive ethos that embraces diversity, inclusion and respect for all learners. The school delivers the Learn Together ethical education programme, which explores a wide range of world religions, belief systems, moral values and environmental stewardship. This curriculum is structured around four strands – Moral and Spiritual, Equality and Justice, Belief Systems and Ethics and the Environment – fostering critical thinking, empathy and active citizenship. Families can enrol their children via an online enrolment form, and the school provides a range of resources and support through its website.
History
Tramore Educate Together National School opened its first infant class on 1 September 2014. The inaugural sixth‑class cohort graduated in June 2020, marking the school’s progression to a full primary provision.
