About
Trim Educate Together National School is a multi‑denominational, co‑educational primary school that embraces a child‑centred, democratic ethos. As one of eighty‑four Educate Together schools in Ireland, it operates under the patronage of Educate Together and follows the National Primary School Curriculum while delivering the Learn Together ethical education programme. This programme explores moral and spiritual development, equality and justice, belief systems, ethics and environmental stewardship, fostering a respectful partnership between pupils, parents and staff. The school caters for children from Junior Infants to Sixth Class and is situated in The Maudlins, Trim, a purpose‑built site occupied since 2018. Facilities support a modern learning environment, including digital resources funded by a 2021 EU‑backed grant to bridge the digital divide. An after‑school Homework Club, the Aladdin Connect communication platform and a range of extracurricular activities further enhance the holistic development of learners, promoting academic, social, emotional, physical and spiritual growth.
History

In September 2018 the school relocated from its temporary premises in the former golf club at the Glebe, Kildalkey Road, to its current location at The Maudlins, Trim, expanding to provide classes from Junior Infants through to Sixth Class.
